"I'm a 37 year old male. I have been physically fit the majority of my life. 12 years ago I was put behind a desk and got caught up in everyday life. One morning in March I woke up to realize that I weighed 250 pounds- I am 5'9". I was an avid hockey player in my youth and played at an elite level until I was 24. I have always wanted to get back to playing hockey. But with life in the way I never got there. In March I walked in and joined World Health. I had weight trained before and worked hard but with marginal results. After one week I requested to talk to a personal trainer. I was introduced to John Sinclair. We sat down and talked. He asked me what my goals were. I told him that I want to become physically fit and healthy-with the intent of playing competitive hockey in the fall. John has trained me for 6 months. I have lost 65 pounds of body weight, and I have put on 10 pounds of lean muscle mass. He geared my training to maximize my time and effort in the gym as well as hockey specific training. On September 9th I played my first competitive hockey in 12 years. I played well and did not look out of place. My respect for conditioning just went to a new level.
